Swedish Textile Initiative for Climate Action has just released the most recent Progress Report with data for 2021. The report shares insights into how a majority of Swedish textile brands are progressing toward their climate targets.

Discussions surrounding the climate have been hot topics for a while. But since the overall temperatures are going in the same direction, all players in the textile industry — big and small —need to start acting. Because every one of us shares the responsibility to decrease our CO2 emissions.

In 2018, we aligned our climate targets with the scientific consensus and within the 1.5° c pathway. And now we’re beginning to see our actions take effect. Sure, we got challenges ahead of us, but we’re taking steps in the right direction.

We are proud partners in Mistra's new BioPath research program. Mistra is a Swedish foundation for strategic environmental research, and the program focuses on integrating consideration for biodiversity in the decision-making processes. Being a part of this is, of course, very exciting for us.

The results are in, and once again, we did good! We placed top 10 among the brands assessed in Australia's largest survey on Ethical fashion.
