2001: Nudie Jeans was born. A denim brand out of Göteborg, Sweden, making jeans with big back pocket stitching and dry denim you were supposed to wear for six months before washing. All while encouraging people to repair their jeans instead of tossing them. Because we thought the most beautiful pair of jeans was the well-worn pair. That was us then. Still is today. Slim Jim and Conny were part of the debut collection back in April 2001. Slim Jim was one of three original fits we launched (Flare Glenn was part of the line-up too). Conny is our original denim jacket, with the signature embroidery running across the shoulders.
