Sustainable Fashion Awards 2018

We recently received the Sustainable Fashion Award 2018. Evaluated in these four criteria: innovation, design, technical quality, and sustainability. Guess what? We won!

Last year was a year full of activities for us as we begun communicating our sustainability work more, we launched Re-use online (Drop 5 released this week), we started the Mobile Repair Tour, we announced the transition from the leather backpack to the vegan Jacron backpatch, we continued our daily work in paying out our share of living wages with selected suppliers, we continue to offer 100% organic cotton in all cotton garments and we opened more Repair Shops with offering free repairs along side our existing Repair Shops and the official Nudie Jeans Repair Partners around that we have carefully selected the globe.

As winner of this award we were also asked to nominate a non-profit organisation to which we donate half the prize money.

We chose Idesam for their work in the Amazon region. They have several interesting projects and are a credible organisation – we also appreciate that they have third party auditing.

We are sincerely grateful for the award and the recognition for our continued effort to get the balance right. Thank you!
