What the FAQ — Are our jeans sanforized?

What is sanforized denim?

Sanforization is a finishing step in which the weaves at the mill are pre-shrunk by the use of compressions and steam. And this is mainly of interest on dry denim, which are not pre-washed.

The results of sanforization leads to about 1-3% shrinkage during home laundry as opposed to 10% with un-sanforized jeans.

So, here to answer the question of whether or not Nudie Jeans denim is sanforized is Anna from our Customer Experience team. She'll enlighten all those who are curious about how we work with the sanforization process in our production. If you didn’t already know, now you'll know. Check out the video above!
